The General Assembly of the Tirol Milch cooperative voted on Monday evening by a large majority for the takeover by the Upper Austrian Berglandmilch. 88.26% of the delegates present voted for. The meeting was the final act of a tug of war lasting several months about the future of the largest Tyrolean dairy.
