The Austrian electricity price index ÖSPI is to decline in October
The electricity price index for October 2010, calculated by the Austrian Energy Agency (Österreichische Energieagentur), indicates that in October prices of electric energy will fall.

The prices were predicted to rise in September. The index amounts to amounts to 96.64 points (base year 2006 = 100).
According to the calculations of the Austrian Energy Agency, the ÖSPI will fall in October 2010 compared to the previous month by 0.6%. Compared to the previous year the index is down by 2.7%.
