Temporary Work on the Rise
2.3% of the Austrian workforce are temporary workers. With 75,000 persons, this is a new record.

In July 2011, 74,783 temporary workers were counted in Austria. Against 2010, this is a rise by 13.2%. Now, already 2.3% of the Austrian workforce are temporary workers. As a result, the number of temporary workers reached a new record level. In 2002, only 31,207 temporary workers were observed.
