International economic recovery continues in early 2011. The WIFO business survey also indicates sustained growth for Austria.

After a slight decrease in the third quarter, the international economy picked up momentum again towards the end of 2010. According to business surveys, this momentum should continue during the first months of 2011. Goods production expanded vigorously in the euro area towards the end of 2010.
