Slovenia: SID Bank With Declining Profits

The public export and development bank of Slovenia, SID, sees shrinking profits.

According to a financial report at the website of Ljubljana Stock Exchange, the interest revenues of the bank dropped from € 63.1m in 2012 to € 52.5m in 2013. Profits declined from € 5m to € 4.9m in the same period.
Total assets shrank by 7.4 percent to € 3.8bn. However, the group around the bank increased profits by even one thrid to € 10m this year.
