On Friday a second petition was filed at the Constitutional Court against the property tax.

The parties behind the motion claim that the property tax will jeopardize the financial autonomy of local municipalities. The Association of Municipalities, the Chamber of Crafts and Small Businesses (OZS) and opposing People’s Party (SLS) filed a petition for a constitutional review. By the end of 2013 the three institutions had collected around 80,000 signatures.
