Slovenia Creates Major Bad Bank

In order to reduce the burden on the banking sector, Slovenia´s government wants to shift risky assets to a special purpose vehicle.

According to the Slovenian government, the creation of a publicly held bad bank is part of the solution for the banking crisis. In total, the size of the bad bank will come at € 4.0bn. First assets will be transferred at the end of December.
