Slovenia´s Prime Minister Alenka Bratusek links the approval to the austerity budget to a vote of confidence.

Slovenia still tries to prevent a bail-out by the “Troika” (ECB, ESM and IMF) by all means. In order to push the budget deficit down to 3.0% of GDP, Slovenia´s government plans a number of strict austerity measures and tax increases.
