As per the end of November the country’s budget deficit amounted to almost € 1.62bn, according to the latest estimates by the Finance Ministry.

In November alone, a deficit of € 183m was noted, which is the highest shortfall since June this year when € 134m were recorded. Public expenses amounted to € 800m in November, which makes a total of € 8.4bn since the beginning of 2013 while revenues came at € 621m this month, adding to a total of € 6.8bn in incomes.
