The percentage of unemployed persons in Slovakia came close to 15 % in January. Only nine years ago figures were that high. The Central Office of Labour, Social Affairs and Family (ÚPSVaR) recorded a 1.11 % increase on a year-on-year basis. Compared to the same time last year the number of persons unemployed rose by 29,400 which makes 399,367 persons available for jobs at once.…
