Despite the higher income tax rates, the Slovak state revenues are expected to fall by € 360m this year.

Due to the economic slowdown, Slovakia´s tax intake will be lower than expected. In total, the tax collection is expected to be lower by 1.3% in the period from 2013 to 2016.
