In order to reduce the capital outflow, Slovakia imposes a 35% tax rate on transactions to tax havens.

Slovakia fights against tax evasion by new means. According to the Slovak newspaper “Hospordarske noviny”, the Slovak government plans to impose a 35% tax on all transactions to tax haven countries. The tax will not be imposed on transactions the EU countries like Malta and Cyprus, however.
