Slovakia: 3.4 % Increase in Industrial Production

Slovakia's industrial output grew 3.4 percent year-on-year in January, the Slovak Statistics Office (ŠÚ) informed on Monday, March 11.

Industrial production index (IPI) increased by 3,4 % in January 2013 compared with January 2012, due to an increase in electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning supply by 6,1 %, in manufacturing by 2,9 %, in mining and quarrying by 0,3 %.
