Significant Rise in Air Travel
Air passenger transport in Austria increased by 7.9% in 2010. The biggest growth rates were observed at Vienna International Airport.

Statistics Austria reports an increase of commercial aviation (scheduled and non-scheduled air services) for the year 2010: With a total of 24.5 million passengers (transit included), 1.8 million or 7.9% more passengers were transported than in the previous year.
