Walter Rothensteiner, CEO of Austrian Raiffeisen Zentralbank, thinks that the capital shortfall of European banks does not limit credit supply.

In an interview with “OÖNachrichten”, Rothensteiner explains that the current situation is not dramatic. Although the economic growth is very weak, Rothensteiner does not worry about 2013. He refers to Eastern Europe, where the economic forecasts are more optimistic than in Western Europe.
