S&P Criticizes Weak Capital Base of Austrian Banks
According to the U.S. rating agency, Austrian big banks should increase their equity base in order to compensate further risks.

At the moment, EBA (European Banking Authority) imposes a 9.0% tier-1 capital quota. This quota was achieved by RBI, Bank Austria and Erste Group. However, S&P has an own definition of this quota.
