In 2014, Romania is expected to grow moderately. Compared to 2013, growth will decelerate. The recovery mainly depends on exports.

This year, Romania´s estimated GDP growth is 3.0%. Next year, the country´s GDP is anticipated to grow by 2.0%. The deceleration is mainly due to the agricultural sector. Harvests are expected to remain below the 2013 level. Moreover, exports will go down, Melania Hancila, at Deloitte Consultanta stated.
