The Vienna-listed manufacturer of fire-proof products starts a cost-cutting program. CEO Struzl pushes for more efficiency.

“If we want to achieve our earnings target, we must cut costs massively.” Chief executive officer Franz Struzl says. Especially administration and production costs should be lowered. On average, these costs should decrease by 2.0% to 2.5% per year. Furthermore, lay-offs are planned. Job cuts at Austrian plants are not planned, but at the headquarters.
