The campaign against „fracking“ gets more support. Environmental activists and suppliers of alternative energy want to prohibit the exploitation of shale gas in Northern Austria. The shale gas project by OMV must be stopped now, Umweltdachverband, Biomasse-Verband, IG Windkraft, Photovoltaic Austria, Austria Solar and Kleinwasserkraft Österreich claim.
