Record Low in Turkey´s Unemployment
Turkey records the lowest unemployment rate for eleven years. In June, 24.8 million workers were registered in Turkey.

In June, the Turkish unemployment rate came at 8%, the Turkish statistical office TurkStat announced. Compared to the level of last year, this is a decrease by 1.2 percentage points. In the last twelve months, 680,000 new jobs were created. Two years ago, Turkey´s official unemployment rate was at 11.9%.
