In an interview with Austrian daily “WirtschaftsBlatt“, Ryszard Petru, chairman of the Society of Policy Economists, sees high chances for the Polish economy; however, only if the country knows how to support innovation.

Polish economist Petru regards the country to currently stand at a crossroads since the economic growth model, which is based on reforms of the year 1990 and the integration in the European Union, is outdated. With these tools alone it will be difficult to boost economic growth, according to Petru.
