Polbank: Imminent Decision

The decision for the sales process of Polbank will be announced in the next few days, according to the parent company EFG Eurobank.

The Greek EFG Eurobank will make its decision on the bids for the sale of a majority stake in its Polish subsidiary known in coming days, said chairman Nikolaos Nanopoulos. Originally, the sale of Polbank should have taken place in 2010.

Austrian Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) has participated in the bidding process. Recently, RBI was also nominated  as "preferred bidder".…
