Poland: PKO BP Cuts Down on Business in Ukraine

The Polish top lender PKO BP’s Ukrainian affiliate Kredobank closed four of its six branches in Crimea in the past two weeks.

This step was announced by the lender’s strategy and investment director Pawel Borys to Polish news agency PAP. "Our presence in the eastern part of the country and in Crimea is very small," Borys said. "In Crimea alone we had six branches, four of which we decided to shut over the past two weeks."
