Polish Insurer PZU Closes Offices in Ukraine

Because of the ongoing riots in the Ukrainian capital Kiev, state-controlled insurance company PZU decided to shut down two offices.

This was announced on Thursday. The step was made after major Polish lender PKO BP decided to close its branches near Maidan, or Independence Square in the Ukrainian capital, where riots claimed the lives of at least 21 civilians.
