Poland: Number of Real Estate Loans Drops

The portfolio of real estate loans of Polish households declined in February, according to a report by the National Bank of Poland (NBP).

The number of real estate loans granted for Polish households by financial institutes has dropped in February from January this year. The volume of PLN-denominated loans increased by 0.9 percent (PLN 1.56bn) to PLN 182.15bn while the volume of foreign exchange-denominated loans decreased by 1.8 percent (PLN 3.12bn) to PLN 166.66bn.
