According to the Polish National Bank (NBP), banks will tighten lending conditions further. NBP wants to support economic growth, but has to prevent a credit bubble.

Poland´s economic growth comes more and more under pressure. Due to the worsening economic outlook, the Polish banking sector begins to tighten the lending criteria. Both businesses and consumers are affected. Despite the slightly tightening in the consumer loan segment, demand is expected to recover in the fourth quarter.
