Poland: IMF Upgrades Growth Forecasts

According to the IMF, Poland´s GDP growth will reach 2.4%. In the prior forecast, the IMF anticipated a 2.2% growth rate.

In an interview with the Polish newspaper “Gazeta Wyborcza”, director of the IMF´s European Department Reza Moghadam underlines the robustness of Poland´s economy.
From 2003 to 2007, the average growth rate was 4.4%. In the years from 2013 to 2018, the anticipated GDP growth is 2.5%.
