The Austrian oil company, which has already invested € 2.0bn in Turkey, considers the location a starting point for the Middle East.

For the CEO of OMV, Wolfgang Ruttenstorfer, Turkey is a strategic starting point for the oil and gas resources of the Caspian and the Middle East. OMV sees Turkey, together with Austria and Romania, as its third core market.
