The Federation of Austrian Industries (IV) suggests using ÖIAG´s investment income for the purpose of financing start-up enterprises.

IV´s chief economist Christian Helmenstein considers that young entrepreneurs often face difficulties in financing their businesses. The investment income of ÖIAG should be used therefore. At the moments, ÖIAG´s dividends come at € 220m per year.
