The Austrian Minister of Economics Reinhold Mitterlehner intends to privatizie the remaining stake in Telekom Austria. This could mean the end of the Austrian industrial holding.

After the entry of the Mexican investor Carlos Slim at Telekom Austria and the resignation of ÖIAG´s chairman Markus Beyrer, Reinhold Mitterlehner again promoted he sale of the publicly held 28.4% stake.
