New Record in Croatian Tourism Sector
In the first eight months of 2012, about 10 million tourists came to Croatia. This is a new record level.

Croatia´s economy faces a deep recession. At least, the tourism sector is booming. Compared to the season of 2011, the number of tourists was up by 4.2%. The tourism sector contributes about 14.5% to 15% to the country´s GDP. In 2012, the tourism industry expects revenues of € 7.0bn.
