Moody´s Downgrades Slovenia

Today, the U.S. rating agency has downgraded the Western Balkan country by three notches to „Baa2“ from „A2“.

For Slovenia, the vicious circle goes on. After a property bubble, the banking sector of the country has a substantial amount of bad loans. Now, the public finance is affected too. As a result, Slovenia´s rating is just two notches above „junk status“.
Moody´s justified its decision with the financially stricken banking industry and the vulnerability of external shocks.…
