Austria´s Minister of Economics does not believe that S&P gives back the “AAA” rating soon. However, the debate about Austria´s rating is overvalued, he thinks.

At the moment, the rating agencies are examining Austria again. Fitch today confirmed the triple-A rating today. In January, Austria lost the “AAA” rating. The U.S. rating agency downgraded the nation to “AA+”, the outlook is negative. Reinhold Mitterlehner expects that the rating by S&P will not be changed soon.
