The social democrat Algirdas Butkevicius may become Lithuania´s next Prime Minister. His main targets are austerity and the accession to the Eurozone.

After the elections last week, the social democrats have good prospects to return to power. Butkevicius is likely to succeed the conservative Andrius Kubilius.
