IMF Forecasts Only Minimal Growth for Austria in 2013

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) forecasts not even one half percent of GDP growth this year for Austria. However, 2014 has better chances for accelerated growth.

The International Monetary Fund has halved the growth prognosis for Austria to 0.4 percent in the current year. Next year, however, the Austrian economy may grow by 1.6 percent, as predicted in April, according to the world economic forecast which was published on Tuesday.
