Hungary: GDP Down by 2.7%
On the basis of the preliminary estimation of HCSO the gross domestic product of Hungary decreased by 2.7% in the fourth quarter of 2012 compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

The performance of information and communication, accommodation and food service activities increased. The decrease was mainly due to the decline of agriculture and industry. The economic performance decreased by 1.7% in 2012.
