Growth Trends in Austria's Insurance Industry

The FMA report for the 3rd quarter of 2010 indicates a light growth trend for the Austrian insurance industry.

The domestic insurance industry also maintains a slight growth trend after the third quarter of 2010, says the Financial Market Authority (FMA). The profit from ordinary activities rose in the first nine months of the current fiscal year to € 861m and is therefore only marginally below the record level reached in 2007 (€ 874m).
