Growing Passenger Numbers at Vienna Airport in July

More than 2.1 million passengers were handled by Austria’s biggest airport in July 2011. Cargo traffic declined by 2.2%.

Vienna Airport reported gains in traffic in July 2011: The number of passengers handled rose by 6.0% year-on-year to 2,154,309. The number of transfer passengers rose by 14.0% in comparison with July 2010, amounting to 721,822 persons.

Maximum take-off weight (MTOW) declined by 0.6%, while flight movements and cargo both declined by 2.2%.
