Russian energy giant Gazprom and British-Dutch oil producer Shell announced cooperation.

Gazprom and Shell intend to cooperate in the search of oil and gas in the Arctic and for the production of shale oil. The respective memorandum of understanding has been signed by the two companies during a visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Netherlands, as announced by Gazprom on Tuesday in Moscow.
