Former Austrian Chancellor Alfred Gusenbauer (SPÖ) was invited by the Serbian government to advise and support it on their path to the European Union.

In a written statement, Gusenbauer confirmed to the Austrian Press Agency (APA) that he met Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic for this reason in Belgrade last Friday.
