Foreign Trade Still Growing
January to November 2011: imports rose by 16%, exports increased by 13%.

According to preliminary results by Statistics Austria, total imports amounted to € 120.51bn and total exports amounted to € 112.82bn in the period January to November 2011. Austrian imports increased by 16.1% and Austrian exports rose by 12.7% compared to the same period in 2010. The global foreign trade balance showed a deficit of € 7.70bn.
