Finance Minister Maria Fekter (ÖVP) does not count on the government to present a budget draft in time, which was scheduled October 22 and involves the Finance Act until the end of the year.

“It will not be finished in time,” she announced Monday evening. Therefore, she will decide about a “legal provisional budget financing” in the National Assembley and hopes for the Social Democrats’ approval. According to the Finance Minister, the ÖVP was in the final vote with the coalition partner.
