The Austrian electricity company purchased a 13% stake in Verbund’s hydroelectric power plants on the Inn river.

Following the approval granted by the German Federal Cartel Office, the closing of the acquisition of a 13% stake in Verbund Innkraftwerke GmbH by evn naturkraft Beteiligungs- und Betriebs-GmbH, a 100% subsidiary of EVN AG, took place on Monday. Thus EVN and Wien Energie each have a 13% shareholding in Verbund Innkraftwerke. The Supervisory Board of EVN already approved the transaction…
