ESM: Slovakia Pays € 264m

In October, the Slovak government will transfer € 264m to ESM. This will be the first two installments.

By October 12, the first two cash payments will be sent from Bratislava to Luxembourg. The remaining share capital comes at € 396m. The remaining funds will be paid in 2013 and 2014. In total, Slovakia´s contributions in cash come at € 660m. In order to finance its share in ESM; Slovakia will have to issue government bonds. Moreover, there are guarantees of € 5.786bn. These…
