Slovakia´s Economy Still Performs Well
In the second quarter of 2012, GDP growth came at 2.8% after 3.0% in the first quarter.

From April to June, Slovakia´s economic growth decelerated slightly. Against the previous quarter, GDP was up by 0.7%. According to the Slovak Statistical Office, the driving force was the growth in foreign demand. In the whole year of 2012, the Statistical Office expects an economic growth rate of 2.7%. Last year, Slovakia´s GDP grew by 3.3%.
