Electricity Price Index (ÖSPI) to Increase in June
The electricity price index for June 2011, calculated by the Austrian Energy Agency (Österreichische Energieagentur), indicates that prices of electric energy will rise.

According to the calculations of the Austrian Energy Agency, the ÖSPI will increase in June 2011 compared to the previous month by 1.7%. Compared to the previous year the index is up by 4.6%. The June base load is forecast to increase by 2% m/m and 8% y/y. The peak load is expected to rise by 1% compared to the previous month. Year-on-year a drop of 3% is predicted.
