Europe’s largest agricultural trading company pays € 4.6m for a 90% stake in the Austrian project company.

German BayWa AG, a Munich-based agricultural products and building materials company, expands its activity in the renewable energy sector. Through its wholly-owned subsidiary BayWa r.e., the group has taken over Austrian Ecowind GmbH, a company which develops and builds wind power projects in Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Croatia and Austria.
