After Czech’s new Prime Minister Jiri Rusnok failed the vote of confidence, there are many indicators that President Milos Zeman will announce early elections.

The government of Rusnok only had a short period in office. Not even a month after the inauguration of his cabinet, the parliament put a veto on it on Wednesday and let the vote of confidence turn out a flop for the 52-year-old economist. The Chamber of Deputies may decide on the dissolution already Friday next week, August 16, and allow new elections.
