In 2012, the unemployment rate in the country stood at 13.2 per cent.

Statistics Lithuania informs that, according to the Labour force survey data, the unemployment rate in the country in 2012 stood at 13.2 per cent, which is by 2.1 percentage points less than in 2011. In 2012, there were 195.2 thousand unemployed persons in the country, which is by 30.9 thousand (13.7 per cent) less than in 2011.
