Bank Austria Centralizes Operations in Baltic Countries

The Austrian subsidiary of Italian UniCredit has shifted the units in Lithuania and Estonia to Latvia.

In future, the operations in the Baltic countries will be centralized in Latvia´s capital Riga. Above all, Bank Austria wants to cut redundancies and lower the costs. At the moment, the business units in the Czech Republic and Slovakia are being merged too. The two countries will be operated from Prague.
